Guest-Editorial Proposals

Archivo Papers Journal is currently accepting proposals for Guest-Edited issues for Volume 5, 2025.

Guest editorial collaborations with Archivo Papers Journal should adhere to the journal's aims and scope.

Deadline for submissions: 17 Sept 2023

 

Applicants should organise the information listed below in one single PDF, and send it to editorial@archivopapersjournal.com with the subject line: "Editorial Proposal Submission — 2025"

↘ SYNOPSIS
research theme and relevance to the journal, working title and abstract for the issue (3 pages max.)

↘ PROPOSED ARTICLES
Identify potential authors and contribution's titles (and corresponding abstract, if possible)

↘ CURRICULUM VITAE
Short curriculum vitae of the editors (identifying corresponding editor, in the case of co-editorial proposals)
Short curriculum vitae of the potential contributing authors.

 

Guest-Editors are responsible for:

↘ managing the time scheduled for the issue production
↘ recruit reviewers
↘ coordinating the peer review process (in collaboration with the journal's managing editor)
↘ proofreading of articles

Please note that, throughout the editorial process, the guest editorial proposal includes the content, editorial and formal/technical supervision of the journal editors.

The selection process will consider the originality, quality and relevance of the proposal in relation to the journal's profile. The selection committee will build a list of candidates to interview, as the final phase to select the contributing Guest-Editors.

Applicants will be informed about the outcome of the call by December 2023.
