Guest Editor Guidelines
Applicants interested in submitting an editorial proposal for a special issue should compile the following information into a single PDF and send it to editorial@archivopapersjournal.com with the subject line: "Editorial Proposal Submission."
SYNOPSIS
- A detailed description of the research theme and its relevance to Archivo Papers.
- A working title and an abstract for the proposed issue (maximum 3 pages).
PROPOSED ARTICLES
- A list of potential contributing authors.
- Provisional titles and abstracts for each contribution (minimum of 5 articles).
- A brief explanation of how each contribution aligns with the issue's theme.
CURRICULUM VITAE
- A short CV of the guest editor(s), specifying the corresponding editor in the case of co-editorial proposals.
- Short CVs of the potential contributing authors.
Guest Editors Responsibilities:
Editorial and Production Management
- Overseeing the timeline for the issue's production.
- Recruiting qualified peer reviewers in coordination with the journal's editorial team.
- Actively participating in the peer review process.
- Co-cordinating the revision process and ensuring timely feedback to authors.
- Conducting a final proofreading of all articles before publication.
Editorial Oversight
- Ensuring the overall quality, originality, and relevance of the special issue.
- Maintaining academic integrity and ethical standards throughout the editorial process.
- Working collaboratively with the journal editorial team on content, editorial, and technical matters.

Guest editors are expected to uphold rigorous ethical standards, ensuring transparency and fairness in the peer review process.
Funding & Open Access
If applicable, please indicate any funding sources supporting the issue's development.
Archivo Papers follows an open-access policy. Guest editors are encouraged to discuss any concerns regarding publication costs or funding with the editorial team.
Selection Process
Proposals will be evaluated based on originality, quality, and relevance to the journal's profile.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview with the editorial board.
